The opening of the new Recreation and Aquatic Center (RAC) has been eagerly anticipated by the San Bruno Community. This exciting event will bring together residents, fitness enthusiasts, families, and individuals looking to enjoy top-notch recreational amenities.

The highly anticipated launch of the RAC marks a major milestone for our community, providing a central place for well-being, social bonding, and engaging recreational pursuits.

Staff is preparing to move in and kickstart this thrilling new chapter for the San Bruno Community. Stay tuned for more information on aquatic and recreation programs, and room rentals at the RAC.

RAC Gymnasium

Memberships and Fees

Membership applications will be available online the first week of July and at the RAC after the soft opening. Experience the convenience of signing up from anywhere or visit us in person to secure your membership and gain access to the exciting new fitness and aquatic facility.

Memberships include access to:

1.   The fitness room with cardio machines, strength training equipment, dumbbells, and stretching area.

2.  The swimming pool during lap swim and recreational swimming times.

3.  The group exercise and gymnasium when the programming schedule allows.

Annual and monthly memberships are available in addition to daily drop-in fees and passes. Membership discounts are available for additional family members in the same household. There is a plan designed to fit your lifestyle and budget. 

The following are introductory fees for the facility. The fees will be evaluated during the initial phase of operations and adjustments will be made through the City’s Master Fee Schedule process.

The San Bruno Recreation and Aquatic Center (RAC), offers a variety of room options for intimate parties, family celebrations and corporate meetings.

Traditional areas available for rent include Community Rooms, Classrooms, Multipurpose Rooms, Conference Rooms and Pool Party Room.  Specialized Rental Areas include the Gymnasium and Pools (Lap Lanes). 

Rental details and applications along with information on approved catering will be available beginning July 8th.  Our dedicated team is on hand to assist you achieve an unforgettable experience for you and your guests.

Services without an adopted fee
Any service rendered by the City that is not within the City's baseline budget level of service and does not have a specified fee in the User Fee Schedule may be charged for actual costs incurred by the City.  
Actual cost. Actual costs are defined as the City's fully burdened hourly staff rate, supplies, equipment, contract services, and capital outlay costs incurred for the service, also referred to as "Cost Recovery" or "Hourly Rate" within the User Fee Schedule.
