Streetlight Update: Phase 1 Replacement 95% Complete |
Phase
1 of the RO Streetlight Replacement Project in the Rollingwood and
Crestmoor neighborhoods is 95% complete, with 143 of the 150 solar
streetlights successfully installed. There are four poles and seven
lights pending, including the relocation of 3 poles which require new
foundations. Staff anticipates this final work to be completed by end
of this month, weather permitting. This transition to solar
streetlights provides a much-needed long-term solution for reliable
street lighting in our neighborhoods. |

Transition from San Bruno CityNet to Xfinity Continues |
The
following letter from Xfinitiy is going out this week to all current
CityNet subscribers. There will be much more info to come regarding the
transition of our cable TV and internet subscribers to Xfinity's
network, including how San Bruno will be the first city in California
to enjoy equally fast upload and download speeds. Stay tuned! --- We are excited to serve the San Bruno community! As you may know, the City of San Bruno recently announced an agreement in which Xfinity is in the process of acquiring CityNet Services. While we may be new to San Bruno, we have been in the Bay Area for many years. You might have even seen our ads or purple Xfinity trucks in your neighborhood. You’ll soon start to see our Xfinity construction teams as they work to bring multi-gig symmetrical speeds, superior WiFi, and unrivaled reliability and security to San Bruno. These upgrades will allow us to seamlessly transition your CityNet services to Xfinity over the coming weeks. As we get closer to the date of your transition from CityNet Services to Xfinity, we’ll be in touch with details about setting up your Xfinity service and easy ways to manage your Xfinity account. We know change can sometimes be confusing, but we are here to make this process simple and provide you with best-in-class connectivity and entertainment. For more information, please visit xfinity.com/sanbruno. We’re so happy to welcome you to Xfinity. Sincerely, David Tashjian Regional Senior Vice President California Region |
