Presentation on the Restoration of the Amelia Vollers House of San Mateo
The
San Mateo County History Museum will present Patricia McDaniel, who
will discuss the preservation of San Mateo’s historic Vollers House at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 26.
Amelia Vollers, a Russian immigrant, purchased a lot in 1889 and had
the Queen Anne Victorian built in 1891. McDaniel restored the house
while she and her husband owned it. The San Mateo County History Museum
is located at 2200 Broadway in Redwood City.
